Nursing is based on various theoretical models all of which aim to deliver quality care, to respect the autonomy and independance of the person, as well as preserve a global vision of the person and their capacities. These models shape various practical applications which create suitable conditions for the organisation of nursing care and a clarification of the role of the nurse vis- à-vis the patient and society.
